 about

Working with water from the lightest and most transluscent tints into darker, richer shades; applying layer upon layer of pigment.

Blotting, diluting, tracing precise lines, light diaphenous brush strokes, masking areas for later inspection.  Watercolour allows for little error, and is exact in its free flowing appearance.

Wether it's painting on paper, cotton, cardstock, silk, or even shoes; painting allows me to express my connection with water, my roots, and my inner dialogue.  Such creativity intensifies my lust for life, connects the physical and spiritual elements and moods of day to day experiences, and allows me to share it with others.

“The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.”
